COLLABORATIVE HEALTH CONSULTATION
My experiences as a mother and psychologist have shown me just how essential it is for mothers to feel deeply seen, supported, and understood throughout every stage of their journey—from conception through postpartum and beyond. Birth professionals are on the front lines of this sacred work, and yet they are often expected to hold a great deal without adequate support themselves.
Through collaborative consultation, I partner with birth workers, doulas, midwives, lactation consultants, and other healthcare providers to strengthen the emotional, psychological, and relational aspects of their care for mothers. These sessions are a space to reflect, process, and receive guidance on how to support the mental and emotional well-being of your clients—while also tending to your own.
Together, we explore how to:
Recognize signs of emotional distress or trauma in mothers
Navigate sensitive conversations with compassion and confidence
Connect clients with appropriate mental health support
Reflect on the energetic and emotional demands of your own role
Integrate holistic and trauma-informed care into your existing practice
These consultations are not clinical supervision, but rather a collaborative and relational process intended to nourish you in your work, expand your capacity to support others, and offer insight rooted in both clinical training and lived experience. My hope is that by supporting birth professionals, I can contribute to a more connected, resourced, and healing-centered approach to maternal care.
